Inspection: my version

The inspection was a HUGE thumbs up! The inspector was awesome and spent 3 hours checking my house very thoroughly! He did check the roof after all, which was a relief. Here's just a short version, the full report will be emailed to my real estate agent and I in the morning. Basically, the electrical is all GREAT, except for the wiring in the garage. It's a little exposed in some areas. 1. The pipes are GREAT, everywhere. 2. The air conditioner and heater work GREAT. 3. The foundation underneath the house is made of brick, but totally sound. He only seen a little moisture underneath the main bathroom, but said that it didn't appear to be mold. 4. The house needs cosmetic brick surgery (lol), but nothing bad structurally. I just need a good mason. It will have to be someone who can center that front pillar holding up my porch roof. 5. Everything looked GREAT in the attic. 6. The dishwasher, garbage disposal and and all ceiling fans work. 7. He didn't see any termites, bu...

Decorating for a princess...

Image
Since I will be living in a 4 bedroom house all by myself, one of the rooms will be for my little grand-daughter Jewell. She stays the night with me 4 or 5 times a week while her mommy works. She already has a ton of princess stuff that fills my dining room... this toddler bed set was one of her gifts for her 1st birthday. I wanted to do something a little different for her bedroom in my new house. Of course she'll still use the set above, after all it's only 2 months old... but I seen these at Target today A HUGE throw rug for $19.99, small print for $2.50 and wall decor stickers for $14.99. And this 21"x21" frame art for $24.99. I had already planned on painting her walls pink, purple and green, so this decor is perfect for a growing little girl! (who may not like princess so much in a few years) Here she is; my Princess Jewell. I can't wait to start decorating her room!
