So much progress...
I actually worked on my new lawn for 3 1/2 hours! I raked enough sticks to fill 1 whole recycle barrel and 2 whole trash barrels. Mowed, trimmed & pulled up dead bushes. It actually looks quite decent!
Time to do some laundry, try to organize my room & eat before I pass out.
It's been very busy today, but I'm happy I'm making progress.
News! I came back from the other house around 3:00 pm and the realtor code box & the For Sale sign were actually gone from my new house! About darn time... it's been 18 days!

Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe how much stuff you have? I felt like I was trying to handle Everest when I moved after thirty years. Half of it I gave away or recycled, and I still have a goal of winnowing out more.
You are a machine. And when do you get time to blog about this?? You sound so organised, I'm kind of jealous... And get some sleep, will you!
ReplyDeleteBusy lady!
ReplyDeleteKaren Anne: Unfortunately I am aware of how much stuff I have. You'd think I'd learn my lesson by now and weed out the un-neccessary!
ReplyDeleteJodi: Yes, I'm tired.
ReplyDeleteBrismod: I blog when I first get up, or during much needed 10 minute breaks. My memory isn't as good as it used to be... if I don't blog right away, I'll forget all the details. Sad, but true.
ReplyDeleteYAY! Your nemesis, the lock, is gone. VANQUISHED!
ReplyDeleteAnd I see you're starting to acquire tools. Warning: This could be dangerous. :-)
Geeze, I cant beleive you have already started on lawn work, i dont think we did that until we were settled in.
ReplyDeletethat explains the dirty looks from the neighbors though! LOL.
