Christmas at Ye Olde Brick House

Christmas was pretty wonderful this year. My oldest daughter, Sasha, and grand-daughter stayed the night with me.

We were up bright and early making pumpkin pancakes and biscuits and gravy. My youngest, Brittany, and her boyfriend joined us for breakfast.

Then came the presents. Jewell tore into the first 5 presents but then lost interest in opening any more; because she wanted to play with the ones she already had. Her mommy got her Barney toys; which she absolutely loved.

My girls loved all of their stuff; mainly pajamas, socks and clothes from Old Navy. My oldest daughter really spoiled me with coffee cups, family portraits, a fluffy robe and slippers, books, etc. My youngest got me a gift set from Bath and Body.

Later, my oldest and I went to the movies and seen "It's Complicated"... which was so hilarious!

On New Years Eve we just watched tv until 10 and went to bed. So glad the holidays are over!

This weekend I managed to take down all the Christmas lights, rake leaves, mow the lawn, grocery shop, clean house, do laundry, wash the car, organize my room and pay bills. I'm sure there is more, but I'm so tired I can't think. :)
